About Jerry Vitale

Jerry Vitale, with a degree in Psychology & Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and post-graduate work at LaSalle University in Clinical Psychology, began his career in direct sales in the field as a representative for Enviro-tech International selling waterless car wash. Within four years he built a large sales organization, sold the business and joined the corporate team, becoming the National Director of Sales, wherein he learned the corporate side of operating a direct selling company. In 2001 Jerry became the Vice President of Sales for Southern Living at Home. During his tenure and with his leadership the company recruited over 40,000 sales representatives and grew to over $200 million in the company’s fourth year, making Southern Living at Home one of the fastest growing party plan companies of all time. After 8 years Jerry began a consulting business, AwesVitale, with his longtime business partner. This led to a 4 year position as Vice President of Willow House, a party plan company specializing in high end home décor. Since 1995 Jerry has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people in meeting rooms, large and small, across the country. And now Jerry brings a message to you in his first online audio series entitled “You’re a Gift”. This is a series of stories about real life ‘gift givers’ from whom Jerry has gleaned gifts of conventional wisdom through the years.
